Having Negative Thoughts??

Image
Desire is the starting point of all achievement, not a hope, not a wish, but a keen pulsating desire which transcends everything.” – Napoleon Hill Did you know that thoughts that you repeat often, eventually, affect your behavior and actions, and create changes in your life in accordance with these thoughts? If you keep thinking about problems and  failure, you attract these things into your life.  If you often think about happiness and success, eventually, this is what you will attract into your life. There is no magic here, but only natural laws at work. You need to know what these laws are and how to use them effectively. You also need to start using them, and continue until you get results. When you change your thoughts, you change your life accordingly.  You can take advantage of this process, and use it to improve your life and make positive changes in your life, and you do this by getting a positive attitude .  If you constantly think about obstacles and fa

Rebounding from Failure - Part 2

Image
Failure is a part of life, it is inevitable. It’s about time you learned to accept it and move on. It’s okay to make mistakes and fail. There is no point in trying to hide it or deny it; it should be embraced. When you ignore it, it can cause deeper problems. So, the next time you sink into depression when something doesn’t go your way, remember that without making mistakes, you will never learn. And when you learn from your mistakes, you will perform better the next time. So, treat the failure as a learning experience. Strong Will to Go Again Just because you failed once, it does not mean you should give up. You need to own up and accept it. To rebound from failure, you need to have a strong mindset to take responsibility and risk trying again. Anything that is challenging won’t come easy. Failure should not stop you. Instead, it should push you to try harder the next time. Instill that confidence in yourself, and there will be nothing that can stop you. Ref

Rebounding from Failure

Who wants to fail? No one. But it is inevitable. Life is full of ups and downs, and you can’t expect never to face a downward spiral in your life. Failures come in different shapes and sizes – there’s no escaping them. They may be challenging, but it’s not impossible to overcome them. So, don’t beat yourself up or drown in despair when you fail. You need to learn from that failure and move forward. You must remember to pick yourself up and start again. Here are a few strategies that will help you bounce back in the game when you face failure. Rethink the Situation When you face an obstacle, try to reframe the situation. Maybe you failed to interpret it correctly. Sometimes, failures come disguised as opportunities. So, think about it positively, as this can motivate you to take appropriate action in that situation. Don’t look at it as a roadblock. Think about how someone else must have faced the same situation and overcame it with courage. When you reframe

Staying Positive!

Image
“Your attitude is like a box of crayons that color your world. Constantly color your picture gray, and your picture will always be bleak. Try adding some bright colors to the picture by including humor, and your picture begins to lighten up.” – Allen Klein Traits of People with a Positive Attitude 1. A positive attitude is mental outlook of optimism and of expecting good things to happen. People who possess this attitude are easier to get along with, are happy, and they spread joy around them. 2. A person with a positive state of mind does not dwell on the problems and difficulties of the past, and does not let them dictate his or her life. Such a person would rather learn from past mistakes and move on. 3. A positive attitude can affect your life favorably in all areas. What is the meaning of Positive Attitude - Definitions

Image
You have probably heard the following words many times, “you should have a positive attitude…” Have wondered what is the meaning of these words? Have you wondered why positive attitude matters? In this post, I would like to offer a few explanations and definitions about the meaning of positive attitude. When do people tell you that you need to dump your negative attitude and adopt a positive one? They tell you that when you are negative, expect failure, and doubt your abilities. They try to encourage you to be positive, and want you have more confidence and belief in yourself. A positive attitude is essential to happiness, joy, and progress in life. This state of mind brings light, hope and enthusiasm into the life of those who possess it. Adopting it in your life does not mean that everything will always move smoothly and there will be no bumps on the road. However, it ensures that any setback you might encounter will not stop you or change your state of mind, a

Making a Difference!

Image
“Oh no I can’t! I’m not matured enough just yet”. There are lots of thoughts that come our way each time the grace for making a change is made available. Thoughts to discourage us and hinder us from embarking on our chosen agendas, considering the current state. But must you be matured before you can make a change? Of course not! We can make a difference no matter the age, no matter the circumstance. It simply depends on you. Problems are there to tell us that there’s something you can do, be it little or great, to effect changes to benefit you and others. Taking a step to solve the problems is what we all need, making the move, instead of waiting for help from elsewhere which might not even come. Don’t let your flaws define you. You can go beyond your flaws to make the world how you want it to be, a better place. Maybe you’ve tried before to make a change and it didn’t work, try again, believing God, it’ll definitely work. People are out there waiting to hear yo

Breaking Free

Image
We have become prone to creating a phantasm of an irony around ourselves which may be as a result of external stimulus, we have the fear of what the opposite of that ironic phantasm may look like and even being left with our own thoughts is a nightmare to many. Unfortunately, our addiction to this condition (ironic phantasm) has significant consequence that could be a danger to our mental and physical health. I always felt the urge to write about breaking free , perhaps because i need to break free from a particular character, person or whatever. My thoughts were all disillusioned and i did not know. I know you must be wondering what i mean, but keep reading and you'll find out. Exams had ended, i finished my defense with the economy getting so bad, and the rise and rise of dollar, i decided to go home and continue my search for greener pastures. I was so excited to go back to my lovely family that i had forgotten i was leaving my new home, a place i always loved fr
